The "Solved" Mysteries of Harris Burdick

Chris Van Allsburg came across the pictures of Mr. Burdick through a friend, Mr. Wenders. Burdick presented the pictures with their titles & captions to Wenders in hopes that Wenders would be interested in purchasing the stories that accompanied the illustrations. Wenders liked the pictures & asked Burdick to submit the corresponding stories the next day. However, Wenders never heard from Mr. Burdick again, so the "true" stories behind the pictures were never revealed. Here's the book's Introduction.

Choose an image, its title & its caption. Propose a story that tells what happened before & after the corresponding image.
Incorporate the caption into your story.
Your story needs at least 5 paragraphs (1.5 - 3 Page Maximum) & should be typed.
